Comfy casual for Fall

This is it... the last day of August.

We're thinking forward to cool breezes, leaves changing colour, and look stylish and comfortable and (gasp!) warm.  A go to look for the ladies of the Sunshine Coast is jeans and a sweater - but keep it stylish by adding thoughtful accessories, boots and tailored knits.  Comfy need not be frumpy!

Coming soon... Soybu!

Researching new lines is one of Tanya's favorite jobs at Fits to a T.  She has grown to know her client base and knows just what will be popular, look good and fit well at her store.  While in Vegas, she's stumbled across Soybu - an athletic apparel company with a comparable fit and style to *ahem* a certain Lulu-named brand.

A little preview for you all... this will be perfect lazy weekend wear and great for all the T-Fit ladies out there!

Leggings for all, leggings for Fall!

That tricky time of year is upon us... it's getting cooler in the evenings, but not quite cold... and you want to stretch your summer dresses and tunics as long as you possibly can...

The answer is leggings.  Many women are hesitant to dress with leggings (excuses: too young!  not for my body type!), but they really shouldn't be.  Leggings are practical, stylish, thinning and a wardrobe staple.  They work with flats, heels and are fab with boots.

Don't know where to start?  The obvious answer is black.  Thicker than tights or nylons, leggings with a bit more warmth, a bit more tuck, and are great with dresses and sweaters.  See some inspiration, below!

Not-so-boring Neutrals

Looking to any season, one colour that should be in every woman's closet is neutrals.  Okay, so "neutrals" aren't one colour, but the range of colours occupying everything from off-white, through beige, tan, grey and greige, khaki, taupe, browns, and even navy.  Phew!  Lots to choose from, regardless of skin tone and colour preference.

Looking at lighter neutrals, namely khaki and tan, it's undeniably easy to pair them with crisp whites, denim (another wardrobe neutral) and blacks, as well as metallics for super-chic ensemble.  Add a pop of colour through accessories.  Voila!  Instant style.

I love these lookbook ideas found on Pinterest for neutral outfit ideas and pairings:
